We are excited and honored to announce the OFFICIAL RELEASE of 'Houma Records - Volume 1 - Best Of' ~

This is the first time this music has been available since the original 45s were made back in the 60s & 70s!

The double LP release is broken down into 4 different genres of music ~ BAYOU COUNTRY - SOUL AND BLUES - SWAMP POP - FRENCH MUSIC ~

The album plays like a radio show with interviews woven throughout the record from Joe Barry & John Broven, Leroy Martin, Raymond George, and Houma Records founders - Anthony 'Rod' Rodrigue and Eldridge Robicheaux. The records were pressed locally at the New Orleans Record Press! We only made 200 of these, and right now, they are only available in store at Good Earth Records in Bay St. Louis.
